Sydney Adventist Hospital, affectionately known as ‘the San’, has been leading the way in whole-person health since 1903. Today, we’re NSW’s largest private hospital, providing a comprehensive range of acute surgical, medical and obstetric care. At the heart of everything we do: an unwavering commitment to providing remarkable care.
The San has been here for you since 1903. And we’re still here today, delivering world-class care. It’s all part of our mission to care for our community in mind, body and spirit. Because at the San your whole health is our whole purpose.
The San has an ongoing commitment to the education and training of healthcare professionals – and as a teaching hospital, we also invest heavily in medical research through affiliations with major tertiary education institutions. We are proud to have forged a strong academic partnership with Australian National University, and our key partner in nursing education is Avondale University, whose students are able to study and live on our campus.
